Street Church is a weekly after-school club for urban elementary-aged kids (we also welcome middle and high-schoolers who would like to take leadership roles). Street Church begins with a hot meal followed by an interactive Bible story, active game, creative Bible verse lesson, crafts and small group time. We end our night with some fun traditions as we acknowledge excellence and close with a group prayer.
For volunteers Street Church starts at 4:00 with a staff meeting and prayer. At 4:30 we split up to pick-up the kids. As kids arrive we spend some time hanging out, doing crafts and playing board games. Club for the kids lasts from 5:00-6:30. Volunteers then take kids home and clean up the church.
We offer two different sessions of Street Church:
Wednesday Street Church: 4:00-7:30 or
Thursday Street Church: 4:00-8:00
